Do you know how horrible it is to be pantless? I learned the hard way, but memory techniques could of saved from this nightmare experience… haha! I was living at my aunt’s house at the time, and I had a speech to go give. I like to wear a suit for the older crowds, so I went to the closet to get my suit out. I put my dress shirt on, my tie, and my suit jacket. I was ready to put my pants, but my pants weren’t on the hanger with my suit jacket.

So I went to the closet and moved things around , but my pants were nowhere to be found! “Let me shut the closet door and open. My pants will totally be there when I open it again,” I told myself. Uh nope! My pants were MIA. I ran downstairs to the laundry room, but I don’t know why they would be in the laundry room since you don’t wash dress pants. Sadly, they were not there. I even started to think that my aunt was hiding my pants as a cruel joke.

I was totally losing my mind and thought I was going crazy haha I’m running around the whole time pantless! My aunt saw me running around confused about the whole situation. I asked her if she had seen my pants because I couldn’t find them for the life of me.

She told me, “Wait. Are these the pants you took to your other aunt’s house?” Face palm! I totally forgot I gave my other aunt my pants to fix. How does a memory champion forget something like pants!? My whole ordeal could of been avoided if I used the technique to remember where you placed your items.

All I had to do was make a story between pants and my aunts. I see my pants attacking my aunt. Before I started freaking out about my missing pants, I would of paused and think about my pants attack my aunt. “Oh, my pants are at my aunt’s house. Do you see how easy problems can be avoided if you use memory techniques. Use memory techniques so you don’t forget where you placed your pants.
